I am thrilled to announce my association with Picasso Home Art School!

No longer do you have to pay for the travel to a college or university campus, stand in line for registration or wait for your professor to begin class on their schedule. Take advantage of personalized, professional training in the convenience of your own home at your leisure. I am currently offering home art lessons in drawing or watercolor for the Fayetteville, NC and surrounding areas.

Lessons run for one-half hour sessions to hour long sessions ranging from $25 per 30 minutes to $40 per hour. No long term commitments--easy payments through paypal, check or cash.

Techniques are based on the award winning approach of Drawing on the Right Hand Side of the Brain.

Feel free to contact me for more information to schedule your first class today!

Cheers!

Progression of a Charcoal Painting

I've found a new demo tool to put together a slide show of a charcoal painting. You can see several progression shots of the piece from beginning to end. What fun to work on these adorable little boys!

Women's Vision: A Glimpse Through Her Eyes

What an honor! I was recently asked to take part in a Women's History Month celebration by showcasing some of my art at the Officer's Club at Fort Bragg. The event opens March 25th, 2008 at 10:00 am-3:00 pm.

As a former enlisted member of our Armed Services, a woman and an artist, I consider it a great honor to be a part of this exciting day! My early years of drawing with my father have made creating art a life-long passion and one I am thrilled to share with others.

Please feel free to stop by for a viewing, soak up some wonderful facts about our women in history who've made a difference--and of course meet the artist and have some refreshments!

Other artists such as Leslie Pearson, Laura Goddard, Donna Neary, Sallie Bingham, Catherine Horton, and Ruth Hatcher as well as representing groups like the North Carolina Museum of Art and the Fayetteville Museum of Art will be displayed.

I hope to see you there!

Cheers!
